Junior Railers Learn to Play Hockey (ALL AGES)

The Junior Railers Learn to Play Hockey program is designed for players of all ages and experience levels looking to get started in the game in a fun, supportive environment. Led by former NHL player Bobby Butler and an experienced coaching staff, players will develop skating, passing, shooting, teamwork, and overall hockey fundamentals while building confidence and a lifelong love of the game.

The 2026–2027 season runs from October 3, 2026 through March 28, 2027, with sessions held on Saturdays and Sundays at Worcester Ice Center from 9:20 - 10:20 AM.

Registration is always open — players can join ANYTIME during the season.

2026-2027 Junior Railers House League Registration

The 2026–2027 Junior Railers House League will feature a 20-week season and playoffs with weekend practices and games from October to Late March, focused on development, fun, and a great team experience.

Schedule:

Pre-Season Shake Off the Rust Skates on September 26th & 27th

Evaluation Scrimmages on October 3rd & 4th

20-game Regular Season + Playoffs beginning on October 10th & 11th

For the 2026–2027 season, we’re making a strong commitment to affordability and accessibility, helping more families open the door to the game.

The goal of our updated tuition model is to make hockey more manageable:

$0 due at registration

6 payments of $225 (October–March)

All Registered Players will be placed on a team.

Our goal is simple: grow the game, keep kids involved, and create a positive hockey experience for everyone!

We created this group to give hockey families in our community a place to buy, sell, trade and donate used hockey gear. Hockey is an incredible sport, but it can also be an expensive one — especially with how quickly kids grow and how often equipment needs to be replaced.
