2025-2026 Junior Railers Tryouts

Junior Railers Hockey Club tryouts will begin on March 10th at Worcester Ice Center. Tryouts will be held for all AAA, Travel and Midget age teams. All dates and times are to be announced.

2025-2026 USA Hockey Age Classifications: 2017 & Younger - 8U (Mites), 2015/2016 - 10U (Squirt), 2013/2014 - 12U (PeeWee), 2011/2012 - 14U (Bantam), 2009/2010 - 16U (Midget), 2007/2008 - 18U (Midget)

2025-2026 Cross Ice Mites Registration

Registration is now open for the Mite Cross Ice 2025-2026 season. This program follows the USA Hockey ADM Kids model and is open to players born in 2017 and after. All players will be evaluated and assigned to a Junior Railers team that participates in the North Star Youth Hockey League. Team rosters are selected based on age and overall skill to ensure competitive play at the appropriate level.

The program is a FULL SEASON program and runs from late August to late March

Player evaluations will take place on at Worcester Ice Center in April 2025. Dates and times to be announced.

Worcester Rail Dawgs ID Skates

January 30th & February 4th at Worcester Ice Center for players interested in Full Ice Mites for the 2025-2026 season. Skate is open to 2017 & 2018 age players. No registration required.

2025-2026 JRHC Coaching Application

All potential Coaches and Assistant Coaches for the 2025-2026 season are required to complete this application. The Junior Railers welcomes all coaches to apply including those that may be new to the organization for the coming year.

The Junior Railers Hockey Club offers all levels of hockey: Learn to Play Hockey, U8 (Cross-Ice Mite Hockey), House League, VHL Travel and AAA Hockey.

Applications should be submitted by February 15, 2025.

Learn to Play Hockey Registration is always open, Join ANYTIME!

The Best Learn to Play Hockey program on the planet!! Program director is former NHL star and current Junior Railers Director of Hockey Operations Bobby Butler. His staff of experienced coaches will focus on FUNdamental skills such as power skating, shooting, stick handling, passing and team play.

The Junior Railers Full Season Learn to Play Program will have 50 weekend sessions at Worcester Ice Center during the 2024-2025 season!

Winners will be drawn daily through January 1st and selling will remain open so participants can reach their goal. The online raffle store through US Sports & Apparel will also remain open with a great selection of exclusive prizes for each player who sells 20 tickets.

The proceeds from this raffle will benefit the Philip Coleman Scholarship Fund to help us make hockey a sport for everyone. One of the primary goals of the Junior Railers Hockey Club is to ensure that any child with the desire to play hockey has the opportunity to do so, regardless of financial ability.

Philip Coleman Scholarship Fund

The Philip Coleman Scholarship Fund was established in 2021 to provide financial assistance to Junior Railers families who can't afford the full yearly fee.
