Winners will be drawn daily through January 1st and selling will remain open so participants can reach their goal. The online raffle store through US Sports & Apparel will also remain open with a great selection of exclusive prizes for each player who sells 20 tickets.

The proceeds from this raffle will benefit the Philip Coleman Scholarship Fund to help us make hockey a sport for everyone. One of the primary goals of the Junior Railers Hockey Club is to ensure that any child with the desire to play hockey has the opportunity to do so, regardless of financial ability.

Junior Railers Night & LTP Holiday Jamboree

We are excited to be back at the DCU Center on Saturday December 28th for our annual Junior Railers Night at The Worcester Railers! This year all Junior Railers and Worcester Rail Dawgs players, coaches, managers and volunteers get FREE a free ticket to the game and 8 players will be chosen for the intermission shootout with a chance to win a $2,000 tuition credit for the 2025-2026 hockey season! This is always such a fun and exciting night for our hockey families and friends to get together during the holidays!

Puck drop is at 6:05 PM. The FREE player ticket can be claimed by clicking HERE and additional tickets can also be purchased at the discounted group rate.

The event will also feature a Holiday Jamboree for our Learn to Play Program at 2:30 PM. Details about the Jamboree will be sent by email.

Learn to Play Hockey Registration is always open, Join ANYTIME!

The Best Learn to Play Hockey program on the planet!! Program director is former NHL star and current Junior Railers Director of Hockey Operations Bobby Butler. His staff of experienced coaches will focus on FUNdamental skills such as power skating, shooting, stick handling, passing and team play.

The Junior Railers Full Season Learn to Play Program will have 50 weekend sessions at Worcester Ice Center during the 2024-2025 season!

JRHC House League is designed to provide players ages 8-16 of all abilities with an opportunity to play quality, competitive hockey in a supportive, friendly environment with a level of commitment (both in terms of time and money) which is as manageable as possible.

VHL Midget Winter Registration is Open

Registration for the 2024-2025 Junior Railers Winter Midget season is open. Tryouts/Evaluations will take place after Thanksgiving and teams will compete in the Valley Hockey League (VHL) from December to April. All teams will play a regular season of approximately 18 games and playoffs.

Learn to Play Jamboree & Jr Railers Night

The Junior Railers will host our annual Holiday Learn to Play Hockey Jamboree on Saturday, December 28 at 2:30 PM before the Worcester Railers game. 

The evening is also “Junior Railers Night” at the DCU when the Railers take on the Reading Royals at 6:05 PM. All players will get a free ticket to the game and have a chance to participate in the intermission tuition shoot-out!

Philip Coleman Scholarship Fund

The Philip Coleman Scholarship Fund was established in 2021 to provide financial assistance to Junior Railers families who can't afford the full yearly fee. JRHC Open Meeting - JANUARY 9, 2025

The Junior Railers Hockey Club Board of Directors will hold its monthly open meeting for members on Thursday January 9th at Worcester Ice Center. The meeting will take place in the hockey office located on the second level between the two rinks.

The Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center is a Multi-Use Recreation Center. This first class facility features two NHL Regulation Ice Surfaces, Sports Rehabilitation, Strength Training, Pro Shop a Brewery/Restaurant and much more! Worcester Ice Center is conveniently located at 112 Harding Street in downtown Worcester just minutes from Polar Park, hotels and many of the areas best restaurants. "WIC" is the practice facility of the Worcester Railers Hockey Club the ECHL affiliate of the NY Islanders.
